In 2016, I started Zoetrope Software as an outlet for much of the experiments I had amassed over the years, primarily with Quartz Composer.
Partnering with Boston-based plugin firm FxFactory, I was able to adapt my code experiments to plugins for the major video applications on MacOS X.
Many of the plugins are based on generative design principles, to create content with an experimental, surprising results.
They are useful for graphic designers and artists as well as traditional video editors.
