The Sculpture Centre in New York, known for its consistently avant guard programming, comissioned our Technical Direction services for a new video installation by Artist Carissa Rodriguez
Entitled "The MAID", the work involved a large, custom made, double sided floating screen, dual 4K resolution projectors, and multi channel sound.
Rigging in the large former industrial space was particularly challenging.
Carissa Rodriguez: The Maid is the artist's first solo museum exhibition in New York City. The exhibition is curated by Ruba Katrib and is accompanied by a color publication with essays by Katrib and Leah Pires.
