Irina Nakhova - Deposition
Interactive Installation
Museum Rupertinum, Salzburg
In 2000, I worked with acclaimed Russian artist Irina Nakhova to create an interactive installation in Salzburg Austria
The installation involved cherub sculptures which would quickly inflate as the viewer walked beneath them.
The tech was comprised of infrared sensors wired to trigger fans, which would inflate each sculpture when the viewer was in proximity.
Additionally a series of paintings, each disguised a small flat speaker and sound playback system.
Individual narratives were whispered as you viewed each painting.
